Additionally, the news is literally fake – remember the CNN green screen stunt where they pretended they were being bombed in Saudi Arabia but were really in a studio? What about lying news anchos like Brian Williams and Bill O’Reilly (Bill O’Leilly)?

When the first Masonic lodges opened in Paris in the early 18th century their membership included traders, merchants, musketeers, clergymen, and women - both white and black. Face2Face: Real-time Face Capture and Reenactment of RGB Videos:

We present a novel approach for real-time facial reenactment of a monocular target video sequence (e.g., Youtube video). The source sequence is also a monocular video stream, captured live with a commodity webcam. Our goal is to animate the facial expressions of the target video by a source actor and re-render the manipulated output video in a photo-realistic fashion. To this end, we first address the under-constrained problem of facial identity recovery from monocular video by non-rigid model-based bundling. At run time, we track facial expressions of both source and target video using a dense photometric consistency measure. Reenactment is then achieved by fast and efficient deformation transfer between source and target. The mouth interior that best matches the re-targeted expression is retrieved from the target sequence and warped to produce an accurate fit. Finally, we convincingly re-render the synthesized target face on top of the corresponding video stream such that it seamlessly blends with the real-world illumination. We demonstrate our method in a live setup, where Youtube videos are reenacted in real time.

The tiny animal is thought to be an extinct breed of dog and scientists are now hoping to bring the species back to life.

Scientists have \'thawed\' an extinct species of dog - which is thought to have been frozen in Siberian permafrost ice for 12,400 years.

The ancient puppy still has its own teeth, and its brain is also thought to be intact.

Experts are examining whether the young animal was a \"pet\", while controversial South Korean cloning guru Hwang Woo-suk - present at a remarkable autopsy of the extinct Pleistocene canid - has taken samples in a bid to bring the extinct species back to life.

A video shows how mud and dirt from a dozen millennia was washed off the frozen puppy ahead of a post mortem on the animal in Yakutsk, capital of Russia\'s Sakha Republic, where the mummified remains were found on a steep bank of River Syalakh.

The puppy was found to be well preserved, including the brain, reported The Siberian Times, which revealed the pictures and video from the procedure.

Russian expert Dr Pavel Nikolsky, research fellow of the Geological Institute, Moscow, said: \"The carcass is preserved really very well.

People around the globe have speculated for decades that history, as we have been taught in school, is incomplete. “Shocking experiment reveals the condition of our society!”

Such a headline is usually tied to articles describing Dr. John Calhoun ’s behavior experiments.

Obviously, there’s a reason for that.

Among other things, the conclusions drawn up from Calhoun’s experiment are used to criticize abundant societies, to seek ways of organizing cities, and to explain the origins of feminist movements or the disappearance of masculinity.

In contrast to fake, poorly-photoshopped Albert Einstein’s quotes, Calhoun’s experiment has actually been carried out. One may have doubts about the conclusions of the experiment; however, we will discuss those a bit later.

First, let’s talk about the experiment itself. Although Calhoun’s discoveries are thought to be some of the most important in the history of psychology, (Hock, 2004 as cited in: Ramsden, Adams 2009) the scientist’s work is not as widely known as experiments performed by Zimbardo or Milgram.

Dr. Calhoun was an extremely famous ethologist who studied mainly behavior of mice and rats at the National Institutes of Health (USA). The most important experiments were conducted in the 1950s and 1960s. One of most shocking experiments performed by the behavioral researcher is known as the Mouse Utopia Experiment.

During the experiment, a group of eight mice were living in ideal environmental conditions. The utopian universe provided rodents with unlimited access to everything necessary for the animals to survive. The mice were provided with food, water, and nesting material. Everything was available at their paw tips.

Although the beginning of the experiment seems ordinary, the course of the study, as well as the results, are quite astonishing.

Cholesterol-lowering drugs cause cancer

Well-designed studies have shown the link between cholesterol-lowering drug use and cancer.
In the Journal of the American Medical Association in 1996 stated:

All members of the two most popular classes of lipid-lowering drugs (the fibrates and the statins) cause cancer in rodents, in some cases at levels of animal exposure close to those prescribed to humans. … Longer-term clinical trials and careful postmarketing surveillance during the next several decades are needed to determine whether cholesterol-lowering drugs cause cancer in humans. In the meantime, the results of experiments in animals and humans suggest that lipid-lowering drug treatment, especially with the fibrates and statins, should be avoided except in patients at high short-term risk of coronary heart disease.

Additionally, according to a 2011 study published in the journal Prostate, men who take statin drugs of any kind are significantly more prone to developing prostate cancer compared to other men. Compared to men who have never taken a statin drug, statin users were found to have a much as an 86 percent increased risk of developing prostate cancer.

We do this because generally, people have been very effectively programmed into accepting two very false and in fact, two diametrically opposed realities, as being true. On one hand we view ourselves as all important, the king of one\'s own castle as it were, and demand we be served by others in a timely manner and to our satisfaction; we deem ourselves somewhat above the common workers we may employ for whatever particular task - while on the other hand we see ourselves as being insignificant little people who cannot really make a difference in the world and must look to others more wise, or place our faith in leaders to miraculously lead us to a better world. In fact it is this very attitude, this bizarre combining of two completely false realities into one that has led mankind to our current predicament.

Life is an incredible thing. It is a melting pot of expression and wondrous diversity whereby human potential is only limited by people’s belief, or lack of belief, in their own abilities and by the limits they place upon themselves. I mean sure, there may be financial barriers we all face regarding the completion of some project or other, but on a deeper level, as a species, as a society, as the expressions of creation each of us ultimately are, we place limits on our potential due to our beliefs of what our potential is and by our belief and understandings of what is and is not possible. In this manner, we imposed our own limitations upon our potential.

Much of the time such limitations are the result of programming, the adapting of someone else\'s belief that has been superimposed over our own. And we call this education. It is the education, or lack of it, that we have received that has ultimately led us to this point because modern education is in fact little more than indoctrination and training. It has been this training that has led us to believe we are both, all important, and ultimately insignificant and inconsequential, at the very same time.

He also claims transhumanism – the idea we can make people technologically better – will be the norm by 2050.

\'With optimised genomes and bodies enhanced by links to external technology, people could be more beautiful...more intelligent, more emotionally sophisticated, more physically able, more socially connected, generally healthier and happier all round.\'

As humans embrace technological advances and gradually become androids, we could gradually see Homo sapiens being replaced by Homo optimus.

Is Google Making Us Stupid?\' was the provocative title of a recent article in the US journal The Atlantic. Its author was Nicholas Carr, a prominent blogger and one of the internet\'s more distinguished contrarians. \'Over the past few years,\' he writes, \'I\'ve had an uncomfortable sense that someone, or something, has been tinkering with my brain, remapping the neural circuitry, reprogramming the memory. My mind isn\'t going - so far as I can tell - but it\'s changing. I\'m not thinking the way I used to think.\'

He feels this most strongly, he says, when he\'s reading. \'Immersing myself in a book or a lengthy article used to be easy. My mind would get caught up in the narrative or the turns of the argument, and I\'d spend hours strolling through long stretches of prose. That\'s rarely the case any more. Now my concentration often starts to drift after two or three pages. I get fidgety, lose the thread, begin looking for something else to do. I feel as if I\'m always dragging my wayward brain back to the text. The deep reading that used to come naturally has become a struggle.\'

His diagnosis is that he\'s been spending too much time online. His complaint is not really against Google - it\'s against the network as a whole. \'What the net seems to be doing,\' he writes, \'is chipping away my capacity for concentration and contemplation. My mind now expects to take in information the way the net distributes it: in a swiftly moving stream of particles. Once I was a scuba diver in the sea of words. Now I zip along the surface like a guy on a Jet Ski.\'

To judge from the volume of commentary that has followed his article, Carr has touched a nerve. He was \'flooded with emails and blog posts from people saying that my struggles with deep reading and concentration mirror their own experiences\'. Various über-bloggers such as Andrew Sullivan, Jon Udell and Bill Thompson took up the theme, adding their own twists. And prominent newspaper columnists such as Leonard Pitts (Miami Herald) and Margaret Wente (Toronto Globe & Mail) also revealed their private fears that addiction to cyberspace, and online media generally were, in fact, rotting their brains.

This topic was heavily discussed during the first episode of the revamped X-Files.

In his 1998 book, The Threat, Jacobs uncovered disconcerting reports about aliens\' plans for the future of Earth. Transhumanism is a recent movement that extols man\'s right to shape his own evolution, by maximizing the use of scientific technologies, to enhance human physical and intellectual potential. While the name is new, the idea has long been a popular theme of science fiction, featured in such films as 2001 Space Odyssey, Bade Runner, the Terminator series, and more recently, The Matrix, Limitless, Her and Transcendence.

However, as its adherents hint at in their own publications, transhumanism is an occult project, rooted in Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry, and derived from the Kabbalah, which asserts that humanity is evolving intellectually, towards a point in time when man will become God. Modeled on the medieval legend of the Golem and Frankenstein, they believe man will be able to create life itself, in the form of living machines, or artificial intelligence.

Spearheaded by the Cybernetics Group, the project resulted in both the development of the modern computer and MK-Ultra, the CIA\'s \"mind-control\" program. MK-Ultra promoted the \"mind-expanding\" potential of psychedelic drugs, to shape the counterculture of the 1960s, based on the notion that the shamans of ancient times used psychoactive substances, equated with the \"apple\" of the Tree of Knowledge.

And, as revealed in the movie Lucy, through the use of \"smart drugs,\" and what transhumanists call \"mind uploading,\" man will be able to merge with the Internet, which is envisioned as the end-point of Kabbalistic evolution, the formation of a collective consciousness, or Global Brain. Our reality is carefully constructed by powerful corporate, political and special interest sources in order to covertly sway public opinion. Blatant lies are often televised regarding terrorism, food, war, health, etc. They are fashioned to sway public opinion and condition viewers to accept what have become destructive societal norms.

The practice of manipulating and controlling public opinion with distorted media messages has become so common that there is a whole industry formed around this. The entire role of this brainwashing industry is to figure out how to spin information to journalists, similar to the lobbying of government. It is never really clear just how much truth the journalists receive because the news industry has become complacent. The Dag Hammarskjöld Library at the United Nations — named after the secretary general who died in 1961 — doesn\'t make the news very often. Meant to be used by the professional Secretariat staff of the UN and by national delegations, it stores documents and publications from the UN and related organizations, as well as a raft of other books and materials on international relations, law, economics, and other UN-relevant topics. So, you know, a library.

But even the UN\'s library has a social media presence now, and recently it tweeted the 2015 publication that got checked out the most frequently:

To be clear: The UN is full of delegates representing awful dictatorships, and the 2015 book that it says got checked out the most from the UN library was about … how to be immune from war crimes prosecution. That does not seem like a good thing!

The book in question isn\'t a UN document — it\'s a doctoral thesis from the University of Lucerne by Ramona Pedretti, pursuing the question of when heads of state and other government officials can be charged in foreign courts. Generally, she explains, there are two forms of immunity in international law from which heads of state can benefit.

\"Immunity ratione personae prevents incumbent Heads of State from being subjected to foreign criminal jurisdiction,\" Pedretti writes. \"In contrast, immunity ratione materiae protects official acts, i.e. acts performed in an official capacity on behalf of the State, from scrutiny by foreign courts.\"

She concludes that immunity ratione personae is absolute, and thus that domestic courts in one country can\'t indict the sitting leader of another nation, whereas ratione materiae can be invalidated for defendants who\'ve left office — as happened with the arrests of the Nazi fugitive Adolf Eichmann by Israel and Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet by Spain. Basically, Pedretti is arguing that incumbent heads of state can\'t be charged and prosecuted by a foreign court, whereas past heads of state can.
